So I played Counter-Strike: Source errr Camper-Strike: Sucks
All I know is this: these guys hate people who are in any way talkative over the voice chat. At least COD4, TF2 and ETQW let you have a personality on voice chat, these CSS idiots however really don't want anything to do with those who bring...the funneh! Out!

I love CS:S. You really just need to find a server that fits your needs. You will run into people that want to play the game seriously and don't want any non-cs talk over the mic... but there are also plenty out there where general talking and random shenanigans are encouraged.
