Ign...

http://cube.ign.com

Well... your thoughts? They've pushed it to hell, and now they've gone even further.

"I Don't Care About IGN"... Wtf is that? Some of us don't have $40 to give to some already rich company to read a few reviews we could read elsewhere. This kind of thing really makes me mad, I can see the countless in-site ads and I still dont want it, trying to make me feel guilty because I dont pay the greedy company just wont help.

Now that is an all-time low, but not surprising, IGN used to be my favorite gaming site, it still is, but I am starting (well, started), to hate them more and more I see their fucking IGNinsider shit, I will be damned if I am going to pay a web site just to read damn reviews, and they are so fucking hard up for $, they will do anything to get subscribers, even flat-out lying about what IGNinsider has, "Come see Sega's new system only on IGNinsider!", then followed up with "Ok, so that's not true, come see the reasons why should should join, anyway", ok, humor is one thing, but they keep using the same damn types of lines like that over and over, and it has grown old, and if they ever did any fucking work, they might not be in such a pinch, all the hell the editors ever do is goof around, nothing else, oh, maybe write up a story or two, then not update for days or weeks at a time, and when something does get done, they rely on their interns to do it without getting payed, I remember back when IGNinsider was introduced, and one of the "benefits" was a web came where, in their description, "you can watch us goof-off at work!", it was amusing back then, not anymore, and even if you payed for the damn IGNinsider bullshit, you would be wasting your $, because I doubt you will get a year's worth before they fold, sad, really, because I really liked them, the first step on this downfall was Snowball buying them, (the damned "we will think of every way to shove an ad in your face" company), then their editor's laziness really started to show, now this IGNinsider bullshit,

It was sort of a threatening enter notice. It said that if we didn't sign up IGN would be gone, or 'another great gaming site' or something. Then if you didn't want to sign up there was a link that said "I dont care about IGN"

It was so retarded.

What I saw was a message saying if I joined now, I would get their magazine for free, and the same "I don't care about IGN" link at the top,

Maybe they noticed how stupid they sounded.
It said that we'd lose another great gaming site and that people who care would sign up.
