DBZ is finally continuing where it left off on CN.
Starting 9/16, Cartoon Network will show DBZ where they left off. I have known about this date for a couple of weeks now.
I didn't post it because I figured someone else would and because I have been busy. I got back into DBZ when they decided to show it from the beginning. I like the series, but it drags sometimes because they show 10 eps. or more for a main fight. I have missed alot of episodes in the last couple of weeks due to college.

One of DBZ's biggest weaknesses is how long they drag it out, in addition to what you mentioned, they also love to do major-ass flashbacks during huge battles, especially with Freeza and Cell, do we REALLY need to watch 25 mins of a recap done as a memory and only 5 minutes of actual new stuff?,

Hee Hee!
I know what you mean Drakk, My bf is into DBZ also. I have tried to watch it many times, but find it very boring for me. I am not much for anime that is drawn out so much like DBZ. LOL ![]() |

It's only drawn out because the TV show went into production while Akira Toriyama was still writing the series. For this reason Toei felt they had to put in a lot of filler material. This spoils the series for me. The scraps of scanned in manga I have of it seem to move much faster.

I think the flashbacks help those new to the series jump into it easier..

Heh, but still, it helps one learn more about past fights, and background of the character. In the cell series, gohans flashback telling about how he has great power when people push him too far would be good for someone new to the series to know.
