Ok, it's about time to get this thing started.

First of all, yeah I know it's ugly. But then again, aren't we all when we're brand new?

If you're interested in contributing to the KB head there and register for an account. I'll contact a few people who sign up to help me test out the system before it's "official".

Anyone else, please feel free to drop by and test out whatever else you can. Like the comments system and the search engine (there will be more than one article there soon

).

I'll slap together some instructions on how to do certain things with it tonight.

Thanks! If we work together this can be a really cool source of information here at SC. I've been wanting to focus more on the technical side of things here, so I'm excited about this project.

The layout looks fine to me. I actually like simplicity to be honest. Just get rid of the white background and replace it with a light grey or whatever else, it'll go easier on the eyes.

As for categories, I'd propose just a couple first and if there's a need for more, you can add them later on. Something along the line what Kermit proposed.

Software/OS can be one category

Hardware

3D or Gaming related

Nonsense (no wait that's what the refugees are good for already LOL)

Tweaks (dunno if they need to be separated into sections for soft-
or hardware at any price)

I think there's something wrong with the "edit" function. Look in the br2 section it clearly says "reviewed", while the edit on the frontpage never appeared (it still says "review"). Tried it twice, even waited and refreshed the page a while to make sure.

It presupposes that SP1 is installed. I tried posting it but nothing showed up.

Are you using multiple servers, so that some kind of lag occurs, or is it a problem of that html proggy? I can see the initial post being edited now, did you edit it, or did it eventually change after a couple of hours?
