That happens to me once and a while. The realms have been acting a little screwy lately so it doesn't suprise me.

i've had it happen where i'm playin a game and i'll suddenly (almost instantly) drop out to the bnet channel saying Connection interrupted or something. When that happens, it's usually as if the last 10-20 minutes of playing never happened. Any drops you found, exp you gained is just gone. That's why i always save/exit whenever i find a really good item, even if i'll lose my place in the field when i'm trying to do a quest. Bnet cant be trusted.

Well, thats the first time it's happened to me in a good 5 - 6 years of play.

Me too... I blame my ISP but twice the game dropped completely (bad ram?) and I've been cut out of a game with my ISP dropping my connection. Interesting to note that it's only when playing D2 and it's only when I'm doing repetitive mf'ing ('cept once last night playing with trip and stryker). All in all, and paranoia aside... bad ram and bad ISP

D2 drops if you try to join a game before it's completely open. If you do alot of cow runs you'll run into this problem alot. the guys will say next game, then give game name or something. You quit out and try to join only to get dropped to desktop. Then when you try to log back in and get into that game, it'll give you a failed to join game error. big pain in the ass but it happens alot to me. If you wait a few extra seconds before jumping into the next game, it'll be full...

Don't forget the spamming bots. Sure most if not all the connection problems are from them.
