I've got a Radeon 9600XT, and even though it's a decent performer, it's still lacking.

BTW, how come every single Catalyst release above 4.2 makes all my games run like ass? I'm still using the 4.2's because every other newer Catalyst release acts like crap on my computer.

Maybe a hardware or software conflict, I do not know.

Any game with Cat 4.6 or 4.7 runs poorly. I thought it was just KotOR, but then I tried some other games, and it's the same.

HEY! I had one of those. A Gainward Geforce 3 Ti200, ramsinks and all

we had to increase the AGP appeture from 64 to 128 and got a huge performance increase. Only card i have seen that hapen on...

What're you talkin' about?? My main machine is still running a GF3 Ti200. I can't wait to finally upgrade my 2-year old machine (P4 1.8Ghz/533Mhz).

Of course the only game I play on it is Tribes 1 and I originally was playing that on a Pentium II (300Mhz) with a Voodoo 3 and a dial-up 33.6 connection, so I haven't felt a real need to upgrade until closer 'til the end of the year when Tribes: Vengeance comes out.
