What's on your playlist?

This partly a response to Gibb Boy's request for me to recommend some stuff, and partly cause I'm bored...so, what're ya listening to?

As for me, today I am mostly listening to...

Bjork ~ "Army of Me"
Stone Roses ~ "I Wanna Be Adored"
Hole ~ "Gold Dust Woman"
House of Love ~ "I Don't Know Why I Love You"
James ~ "What For"
Mansun ~ "Wide Open Space"
Reef ~ "Come Back Brighter"
House of Love ~ "Christine"
Smiths ~ "Frankly, Mr. Shankly"
Placebo ~ "Taste In Men"
Ride ~ "Howard Hughes"
Sisters of Mercy ~ "Dominion/Mother Russia"
Slowdive ~ "Machine Gun"
Carter USM ~ "Sing, Fat Lady, Sing"
Carter USM ~ "Rubbish"

Yeah, I'm bored. :p

I just ripped all four Collective Soul albums and have been filtering through them for the keepers. Very much impressed with Incubus, TooL and Staind also, so I've been dl'ing/filtering through some of their stuff.

Pretty mainstream but oh well, I live in a musical void.

I dont' really have a set playlist. What I listen to never stays the same for more than 2 days in a row. However, I do like Tool (I choose between albums) and techno type stuff, like Paul Oakenfold and Sandra Collins. I'm never afraid to broaden my musical horizons though!

Hey Fu_Manchu, how would you rate "Troublegum"? I've got "Infernal Love" and was thinking about picking up some of their earlier stuff.

I have none of their other albums, so I couldn't give you much of a comparison. I would say though, that it is an amazing record, if a little heavy compared to some of their other stuff. I would recommend it. If that didn't sell you, download "screamager".

Heh, I've got "Screamager"...I take it that's from the same album. Wonderful track, that's the first one I heard of theirs.

Excellent, I'll hunt it down, cheers.
